WELCOME to Sigur's page.
Two days before his first birthday, I entered him in the 2007 Nov. OKC dog show.
The OKC show was his first indoor show and only his second show to boot. He gaited around the ring like it was his. He is not a dog that will run out in front like a lot of the other GSD's that you see. He likes to be near you, almost too close.
Anyway, his competition was an older male but Sigur beat him taking WINNERS DOG. Then when we went back for Breed class, Sigur easily took the BEST of WINNERS for his first three points.
He is a really laid back shepherd. He loves everyone but he is also growing into a magnificent boy. He is starting to realize he is the 'big guy' around here and so that makes him the boss!
April 11/08 to April 13/08 - Sigur will once again take a shot at the conformation ring. He is entered at the Champlain Dog Club venue being held in Petawawa, Ont. Yours truly will be at the end of the lead.

May 9th & 10th - 4 more points at the Arnprior Canine Assoc Show! We are getting there. Just 2 more and we are done....
Next show is in Kingston on June 21 & 22, 2008!
Well, we took only one more point in Kingston, which leaves him sitting on 9 Canadian Championship points. We all know that the tenth point can be soooo evasive!!!

Sigur went from the open class all the way to
BEST of BREED over a Specials bitch for a 5 point win.
Not stopping there, he went into the Herding Group and took a 2nd in Group !!!
What a way to finish in grand style !!!
